What Does Apostille Means?

Basically, the apostille is a certificate that is used to verify the documents for use in the international level. It is a shape of attestation and legalization recognized by countries that are parties to the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public papers and documents. The Apostille in Pakistan simplifies certifying documents for international use by providing a standardized certificate known as an apostille.

When a paper and document is apostilled, it means that a government of the country has verified and attests the authenticity of the signature, seal, or stamp on the document and papers. This process and procedure is relevant for legal and official documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, academic diplomas, and legal agreements when they need to be used in a foreign and Europe country.
